Nb to Quebec license?

I got a DUI in new Brunswick, I was living there at the time. It was while I only had my class 7-2 so I got stripped of my license and suspended for a year which the years has long been up. I recently moved to Quebec and I went to go find out about getting my license. One of the guys working there finally fame back to me after waiting for 20 minutes with a list of 5 things I need to get my license switched from a nb to qc one, I then said so I don't need to start all over and he told me that they will be able to tell me when I go in for my appointment. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks
