Will I be too old to lose my "accent"?

Absolutely not! you're not too old at all! you're still young, and learning, which is a great thing. And the fact that you're already so talented at speaking a second language, just proves that you can improve easily over time. I know many people who speak english as a second language. and after years and years of practice and learning, you can barely tell that that english is their second language - in fact, it sounds like it's their first. I think that if you're already talented at speaking english, being in a new enviroment will help you even more. you'll be fluent in no time :)
